Cubitt kicks off a year-long celebration of Cubitt’s 30th anniversary with a fundraising exhibition developed in partnership with Victoria Miro gallery and Vortic, featuring works by over 80 artists from Cubitt’s past and present. For 30 years, Cubitt has provided studio space for artists in Central London alongside a renowned non-profit gallery, an international Curatorial Fellowship and a community-based arts programme. The proceeds from the sale will go directly to ensuring the future of London’s most influential artist-led organisation.
Following a successful launch at Victoria Miro, Cubitt has selected a group of works to be installed at Angel Mews, by artists whose varied paths have crossed at Cubitt, whether through being studio holders or having exhibited in the gallery.
Cubitt 30 at Cubitt will launch on Sunday 9 October with an all day private view and Cubitt’s first Open Studios since lockdown. Please join us on this special occasion, and have the unique opportunity to meet some of Cubitt’s current studio holders.
Works included in Cubitt 30 at Cubitt include:
Tomma Abts, Yemi Awosile, Simeon Barclay, Flo Brooks, Helen Cammock, Angela De La Cruz, Dexter Dalwood, Tacita Dean, Jeremy Deller, Cecile B Evans, Rosalind Nashashibi, Elizabeth Price, Cathy Wilkes, Ellen Cantor, Jessie Flood-Paddock, R.I.P Germain, Andy Holden, Bod Mellor, Josephine Pryde, Nicole Wermers, Laura White.
